The glory of God
What does it mean to you—the glory of God?
This glory is referred to repeatedly throughout the Bible. For instance, in Psalms we read, "Be thou exalted, O God, above the heavens: let thy glory be above all the earth." Ps. 57:11.
Just as we may miss the full meaning of other similitudes—such as the shepherd and his sheep, referred to extensively in the Bible—perhaps in this age of technological wonders, we tend to miss the full meaning of what the glory of God meant to the ancient people of the Bible and their primitive way of life.
