FOR YOUNG PEOPLE
The new school
Lisa and Susan had been best friends for several years. Now that they had reached their teens, they would be entering a new school in September. It was a much bigger school, and both girls were excitedly looking forward to making new friends.
But the first week didn't go too well for Lisa. By the time she got home Friday afternoon she was in tears. "I don't like this school!" Lisa cried to her mother. "I'm all by myself, and nobody talks to me!"
"Well, where's Susan?" her mother inquired.
