Diviner possibilities
Through Christian Science, one learns to take hold of spiritual facts, which show man's true selfhood and his scientific relationship to a caring Father-Mother God. He discovers how to reject false concepts of self and to replace them with the truth. Then he is able to perceive that he has an unlimited capacity not only to prove but to share an understanding of the good God bestows on man.
Christ Jesus, the master Christian, was always aware of his sonship with God. This gave him power to demonstrate the functions of Spirit in all ways. He said, "The Son can do nothing of himself, but what he seeth the Father do: for what things soever he doeth, these also doeth the Son likewise." John 5:19.
Living his life in uncompromising obedience to God, Jesus fulfilled the demanding career of being mankind's Way-shower. He proved to individuals everywhere—through his perfect example in conquering sin, suffering, and death—the truth of his statement that with God all things are possible. See Matt. 19:26 .
