Working for God full time
Has it ever seemed your job was a major obstacle to continued progress in spiritual understanding? It certainly needn't be. There are, in reality, no limiting material circumstances to affect our true identity as complete ideas of God. And we can begin discovering evidence of this today.
It is refreshing to look on our workday as an opportunity to apply spiritual truths. But what of those who see their workdays as empty periods, void of spiritual growth? The trouble may be the belief that there are two creations, two realities, an environment of spiritual fact and a material world largely removed from the spiritual. A related belief is that man alternates between them.
The fact is, however, that there is one God, Mind, and only one reality, one creation; and since this Mind is Spirit, the one infinite creation must be only spiritual. Mrs. Eddy states: "There are not two realities of being, two opposite states of existence. One should appear real to us, and the other unreal, or we lose the Science of being." Unity of Good, p. 49.
