I am profoundly grateful to God for His revelation of divine Science to Mrs. Eddy. I attended the Christian Science Sunday School as a small child. Since that time I have not been under the care of a physician, except when required by law at the birth of our children. I have had innumerable healings; many have been accomplished quickly. However, there have been occasions when healing has not come for days or even months. But always, as I've seen clearly that the disorder is an imposition, a false suggestion about true selfhood that has no basis in reality, the distress has been eradicated.

A business problem involving a lawsuit was solved in quite an unexpected way. A document, which we had not known existed, was given to us at the moment it was needed to prove the case. At no time during the trial was there the slightest feeling of animosity in the courtroom—a miracle in itself. God's law of justice, forever operating, was unquestionably in evidence.

I have seen a severe case of measles in one of the children healed almost instantaneously. Because of the frightening symptoms, my husband, who respected Christian Science but was not a Scientist himself, asked me to call a doctor. Before the doctor could arrive, the child had been thoroughly healed through prayer.
