Holy war
DORINDA B. LE CLAIR
Place:
alone, within
Time:
now and now and now
Reason:
inescapable, continuing—for everyone
Adversary:
the self—that other, yet seeming to be me
Weapons:
spiritual integrity, humility, understanding
The first:
wrestlings, abandonments, recognitions
Conclusion:
peace, assured, but ever newly to be won
DORINDA B. LE CLAIR
