One time I developed an infection in my foot

One time I developed an infection in my foot. This caused me pain, and some limping, and there were several holes on the sole of the foot. I told my mom and asked her to pray for me. She said she would. I prayed every time my foot began hurting. I knew that divine Love fills all space.

Another thing that helped me was a verse of Hymn No. 51 in the Christian Science Hymnal. It goes:

Eternal Mind the Potter is,
And thought th' eternal clay:
The hand that fashions is divine,
His works pass not away.
Man is the noblest work of God,
His beauty, power and grace,
Immortal; perfect as his Mind
Reflected face to face.

After a month there was still no healing, and I asked my mother why this was so. I said, "I have been praying and praying, and I still haven't had a healing!" My mother told me to keep praying and healing would soon come. So I kept praying every day, and in a few weeks time the holes had disappeared completely. I was able to walk without pain or limping again.
