Unerring direction
A true understanding of direction is a prerequisite to right action. Christian Science explains that the only unerring direction originates in God, divine Mind. The voice of infinite Mind speaks to human consciousness as the power that conceives, judges, and reasons rightly.
For part of my business career, I had to take charge of a group of professional offices and weld them into a coherent and cooperative partnership based on mutual respect, understanding, and trust. Some offices had to move into more suitable premises; in others, senior positions had to be filled. It took several years to achieve the necessary adjustments. They came about gradually as I listened for divine guidance in what to say and do.
I saw that the qualities I was looking for were already included in the manifestation of ever-present Mind. As I abandoned any preconceived notions, the way was opened for the orderly operation of divine Mind and its ideas to appear in my consciousness and therefore in my experience. I became aware of what was required and could recognize which people were needed to fulfill those requirements.
