Stilling storms

Matthew 14:27

Dear God, if I seem to be faced with storms,I know Your omnipotent presencebinds rebellious forms,upholds untroubled normsat home in Your peaceful essence.

You quicken my quiet, pure understanding:no waves there that mystify,no turbulence there, demanding,only the Christly, unending"Be of good cheer; it is I."
