Humility and human will
Are you searching for the kingdom of God?
Christ Jesus directed us to this kingdom explicitly: "The kingdom of God cometh not with observation: neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you." Luke 17:20, 21.
To those hoping to reside in their heavenly Father's love, this is a comforting disclosure. But to be actually aware that God's heaven is within us requires an understanding of our relationship to Him and of our reflection of the divine will. In her article entitled "The Way" Mrs. Eddy writes, "Cherish humility, 'watch,' and 'pray without ceasing,' or you will miss the way of Truth and Love." Miscellaneous Writings, p. 356.
