Mindy and Boller's Pond
Mindy Willis liked to make up things. Her third-grade teacher, Mrs. Brown, said she was very imaginative. Mindy liked to paint pictures and work with clay. But most of all, she liked to write stories and poems.
One day an author came to talk to Mindy's class. Mindy listened to every word. When she was through speaking, the author asked for questions.
Mindy's hand waved in the air. "Where do you get ideas for your stories?" she asked.
