Condition of gallstones healed through prayer

[Original in Swedish]
I first heard of Christian Science at a time of a family emergency. A friend who came to visit wrote her aunt, who was a Christian Scientist, to see if she could help us. After a few days we received a letter from the aunt, written more lovingly than I had imagined possible. She assured us that God's benevolent care was just at hand.
Soon we met a couple in our own city who were students of Science. As a child I had been very interested in getting to know something of God. However, I was puzzled over the doctrine of original sin, which dooms man from the start to a life of sin and punishment. Now, from these new friends, I learned to my great joy that Christian Science reveals the nature of God to be all-loving, all good. I could accept God's love for me, for each of His offspring, and respond to it. Our family was beautifully sustained and carried through the crisis. And during that time, with the prayer of a Scientist, my husband was instantaneously healed of a serious asthmatic attack.
Years later, when I became quite ill, my children were so concerned about my welfare that they took me to a doctor. X-rays showed a condition of gallstones, and I was told that surgery should be scheduled.
