A rule for business
The Golden Rule—"Whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them" Matt. 7:12; —is an infallible guide in business. It enables men and women in business to think and act rightly, to meet competition sensibly, honestly, and Christianly. Use of it stops the urge to compete unfairly and leads to better services and quality products. Thus the Golden Rule, practiced, defines and ensures a valid success. And simultaneously, such practical service closes the door on failure, since God, divine Love, is the infinite Principle that animates true success.
Under divine law, what we bestow on others we bestow on ourselves; what we withhold, we withhold from ourselves. We cannot escape this truth. Utilized, the law of Love improves relationships. If we neglect it, we are poorer in all ways. Our health, happiness, and success flow from our obedience to this universal law of God. Thus we bless mankind through the activity of goodness and love and the reduction and elimination of hatred and evil.
The rule to love others is practical Christian Science. God is All in-all; man is His perfect likeness, spiritual and complete. Man therefore reflects God in unbroken obedience. He reflects the intelligence, the goodness, and the love of God. God is omnipresent; He is here, always. As we discern this, we find He leads, informs, corrects, and chastens through His eternal laws, which bless one and all.
