About eight years ago I decided to rely fully on Christian Science for healing. The benefits that resulted are wonderful and many. They include the healing of a desire for tobacco and social drinking. I was also freed from the use of bad language and dependence on material medicine.

Now I find that each day presents itself as a newborn babe to be cherished, loved, and enjoyed. The knowledge that God's ideas are forever expressed is a blessing. To feel the impartation of His love is a pleasure. I am constantly savoring the quotation from Psalms (118:24), "This is the day which the Lord hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it."

My childhood had included regular attendance in a Christian Science Sunday School, and this afforded me a spiritual foundation to build on. Although for a time I strayed from this teaching, my heavenly Father had never left me, and deep within I was conscious of His ever-presence. Later, my children were enrolled in the Christian Science Sunday School, and together we attended the Wednesday evening testimony meetings at a branch church.
