"Not even a split second"

Who has not wondered how he or she would face up to a sudden emergency? Or what one would do when required to respond instantly without even a split second to spare? It is not what we would do in the face of potential disaster, but what God can do. As the Psalmist said, "God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble." Ps. 46:1; But we need to know this and to align our thinking with the divine Mind so we are regularly aware of God's "hereness."

Since God is All, is One, and is everywhere, everything in His universe must be one with Him; and that oneness includes you and me. Immortal man, God's idea, cannot be separated from that oneness. Christ Jesus, our Master, once prayed for his followers: "That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us." John 17:21;

Divine Love is our Father-Mother. God embraces, enfolds, supports, encompasses, and gives buoyancy to us, His beloved children. Spirit fills all space; therefore all is spiritual. Spiritual man—the only man—is under the protection of God, Life, and can never be separated from Life through illness, sin, or death.
