Long ago I came to Christian Science from a strictly orthodox Judaic background. In all these years I have not found this Science to be lacking, nor has it ever failed to answer my deepest theological questions.

My first healing occurred after a physician told me I could not conceive a child without undergoing a surgical adjustment. Immediately I called a Christian Science practitioner—an individual who had successfully prayed for my husband after a doctor had sent him to Science for help. Thus began my earnest study of this teaching and regular church attendance. The practitioner's treatment set aside the negative medical prediction, for within three months I was pregnant. This was wonderful evidence that the operation of divine law overcomes limiting, mortal belief.

I had three children naturally and with joy. The youngsters were blessed by instruction in a Christian Science Sunday School, and their childhood problems were minor ones. Their only contacts with medical personnel were in compliance with requirements of school or the law.
