During a time of difficulty in the 1960's I began to read the Bible, especially Christ Jesus' Sermon on the Mount (see Matt. 5-7). Then one day I read an article on Christian Science in a weekly magazine. My attendance at a Church of Christ, Scientist, in Stockholm followed. There the members kindly lent me the textbook, Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy. The next Sunday I returned to church, for I had decided that here was where I truly belonged.
I had been having trouble with my eyes. Sometimes they would roll upward, and I could not focus on anything. If I was downtown when this happened, I would have to find somewhere to sit so that I could close them for a moment.
