To see what God has made
(Written at age 7)
When I see a daffodil, it starts as a stalk. Then it comes out being a bud, and as it grows it peels off its cover. The next stage is when you can see the color that it is, and you can barely see the inside. Then it opens itself up to the world. It's lovely and beautiful and full of joy. I would like to open up my petals like a flower. The way I do this is to listen to God. God said that we shall be loving and kind and joyful.
When you see a daffodil, it's always stretching toward the sun and not the darkness. So I can stretch toward God and not error. As I look toward God, I see the world as God made it.
Happiness, joy, obedience, love, and kindness are what God created. I want to see all of what God made.
