I was first introduced to Christian Science in 1918, when my brother and I were enrolled in the Christian Science Sunday School. During intervening years this Science has enlarged my life. It has kept me contented and well. I have enjoyed a happy homelife and an abundance of good.
An outstanding healing was of headaches, which I endured for years until they intensified and began lasting three and four days at a time. In near desperation I appealed to a Christian Science practitioner for help and was healed. Over thirty years have passed, and I have not had another headache. In Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy we read (p. 217), "When you have once conquered a diseased condition of the body through Mind, that condition never recurs, and you have won a point in Science." This certainly was the case in that instance.
As I continued my study of Science, the concept of testing times often made me wonder if I would be able to stand strong, were I put to a severe test. Then one day I realized that testing times come every moment of every day, that I was constantly being tested. This angel message relieved me of this fear and doubt.
