You are necessary
Suicide is not the way out of problems. But for years that remained the last resort for me, until I gained a clear concept of God as Life and man as His spiritual idea.
A long line of rejections, a deep-seated feeling of inferiority, had left me feeling unloved and unnecessary. Frequently I would think the only way out of wretched relationships, unemployment, disease, and depraved appetites was to end my life.
Several friends and psychologists recommended self-help books and self-awareness courses. However, I had been brought up as a Christian Scientist, and I wanted to solve this problem through getting a better understanding of God and my role in life.
