Because of an unfortunate incident at the time of my birth...
Because of an unfortunate incident at the time of my birth, my sight was destroyed. My parents consulted three different specialists, and each confirmed I was blind.
Later a family friend, who had been healed in Christian Science and had become a Christian Science practitioner, visited our home. She was allowed to care for me. In her prayer, I am told, she saw clearly that sight is truly spiritual, and that in my real being I was the image of God, reflecting perfection. In three days the healing was complete.
This wonderful instance of sight restored brought my mother into Christian Science, and I now have a daughter and a granddaughter who are Scientists. We have had many healings in our family, including those of broken vertebrae and serious burns.
