Close to?
Have you ever heard someone say, "It's so close to Christian Science"? Or, "just like it"? Maybe the speaker was referring to positive thinking or mind over matter. Or perhaps to some form of modern medicine.
What is close to the Science of Christianity? Positive thinking? Mind over matter? Psychiatry? None of these is even remotely close to the premise on which divine Science is based.
This Science teaches that God is All. All power. All substance. All presence. All action. All causation. It stresses that God is all good. It is in full agreement with the biblical statements: "God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good" Gen. 1:31; and "All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made." John 1:3;
