You are very precious

Each of us is precious to God. "Thus saith the Lord that created thee, O Jacob, and he that formed thee, O Israel, Fear not: for I have redeemed thee, I have called thee by thy name; thou art mine. ... Since thou wast precious in my sight, thou hast been honourable, and I have loved thee," Isa. 43:1, 4; we read in Isaiah.

God constantly embraces each of us—His own spiritual offspring—in His tender love and care. Divine Love's arm, or power, encircles us, holding us within Love's infinitude. God's love is always right here and everywhere, appreciating our spiritual loveliness. Not only to Christ Jesus but to the Christliness that constitutes the true being of each of us God is saying, "This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased." Matt. 3:17;

At one time a friend put an arm tenderly around my shoulder and said, "You are very precious." It was a special moment. I felt loved. As time went on, those words kept repeating themselves in my thought, especially when loneliness or fear seemed strong.
