No penalty for latecomers
Many have first learned of the healing effects of Christian Science in their advancing years. Are these people at a disadvantage? Must they suffer a penalty? No. God's healing laws are operating in behalf of all regardless of their age.
A man I knew took up Science in his seventies. Studying the Bible Lesson from the Christian Science Quarterly healed him of double vision. Although he had worn glasses for several years, he never again needed them.
Regardless of how many years one has been immersed in worldly thinking, he can learn to replace physical concepts of God and man with spiritual facts, be healed through the perception of those facts, and continue to grow in the knowledge of divine reality. There is no penalty for latecomers.
