My introduction to Christian Science came over twenty years...
My introduction to Christian Science came over twenty years ago when I attended a Christian Science lecture. By the time the lecture ended, I knew this religion was the truth for which I had been searching for many years. I accepted the offer of free literature and also received the Sentinel by mail for a month as a gift from the branch church literature distribution committee. I immediately began the earnest study of this Science of spiritual healing.
After several years of branch church and Mother Church membership, I had Christian Science class instruction. The yearly association meeting provides inestimable spiritual growth and many blessings. Christ Jesus said (Matt. 5:6), "Blessed arethey which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled." My gratitude for his role as our Way-shower, illustrating man's unity with God, is unceasing. And I am grateful for Mrs. Eddy, to whom God revealed the spiritual meaning of the Scriptures. The Mother Church and its activities are blessing and shepherding the entire world.
Through total reliance on Christian Science I have been healed of a painful knee joint, a swollen lower leg, chronic pain in one shoulder, a foot injury, colds with persistent coughing, and a heart ailment. Some of these healings were accomplished without the help of a Christian Science practitioner. I've also been protected from impending automobile accidents, and in one instance where a collision occurred I remained unharmed.
