The letting go
Suddenly free
after weeks of praying
(while the willful clouds
seemed bent on staying)
Suddenly healed—
sunshine pouring,
flooding the atmosphere,
restoring
all of my natural
native gladness—
melting the heavy clouds
of sadness!
Suddenly free
(after weeks of prayer)
finding that Love
was always there.
