Understanding now!

You don't have to wait until tomorrow to gain the understanding you need to solve today's problems. Understanding, a quality of divine Mind, God, is available to you now.

"Understanding," writes Mrs. Eddy, "is a quality of God, a quality which separates Christian Science from supposition and makes Truth final."^{Science and Health, p. 506;} Certainly, God, Mind, is never absent. Therefore understanding as a quality of God is never absent from that thought which consistently and persistently recognizes its unity with divine Mind. Understanding—and therefore demonstration, which goes hand in hand with it—is ours to claim now. All we have to do is rouse ourselves to challenge the suggestion that ignorance is our very own thought. All true thought comes from divine Mind, which is ever revealing itself to us. It is a supporting power for our every effort to perceive more of God's all-governing law.

The impetus of the Christ does not usher us into Christian Science only to drop us just inside the door with no further help in gaining added spiritual understanding. Divine Mind does not provide us with less than adequate spiritual resources to rely on in perceiving and taking fresh, new steps of spiritual progress.
