Exult!
Free to be—
that's what freedom is to me!
To burst the false confines
of mortal thinking that would bind
me to the earth,
and shout the celebration of rebirth!
God has made me what I am,
and has not put me in some traffic jam
of creeping, petty pace;
I am entered in a swifter race,
to run and leap unfettered, in His praise,
up to Him my psalm of singing raise.
Freedom is what He's given me,
for He has made me free—to be!
