Bärbel and the Shunammite
[Original in German]
On the ground floor of the house where Bärbel lived with her parents and brothers was a kindergarten, which Barbel attended.
Everything was fine until one after another the children in the kindergarten were absent. They all were excused with the same illness, and several times Barbel heard it being described.
Then one morning she woke up with all those symptoms and felt so miserable she didn't want to get out of bed. Mother reminded her of the prayer for little children by Mrs. Eddy, which Barbel prayed every night and which reads:
