Man—ALIVE
What does it mean to be alive? Even humanly, it means more than merely breathing and pulsating; more than existing as a mobile, physical object with sensory perception, able to communicate with other people. Much more.
Being alive involves eternally displaying vibrant evidence of being the spiritual manifestation of the one infinite creator of all true identity—immortal Life, omnipotent God. It implies expressing the qualities of divine Spirit, infinite Love, with ever-increasing vitality and fullness of joy. It includes being alert, intelligent, the conscious idea of Mind, forever awake to and appreciating the beauty and goodness of God's, Soul's, universe. It means being strong, perpetually satisfied with Truth's affluence, safe in the eternal laws of divine Principle, powerful in the dominion with which God has endowed all His sons and daughters.
If we acknowledge the New Testament accounts of Christ Jesus' accomplishments, the man who was more fully alive than anyone else in recorded history must undoubtedly be the Master. Of him the writer of the Gospel of John says that he did so many wonderful things that "if they should be written every one, . . . even the world itself could not contain the books that should be written."John 21:25; And all this took place within the three years' span of his ministry.
