Irresistible versus immovable
What would happen if an immovable object met an irresistible force? The general expectation is—an impasse.
But what would happen if the object were matter or mortal mind in any of its manifestations and the force happened to be the infinite power of divine Love, God?
Relying on Christian Science, many have proved that in the latter case the power of Spirit, Love, God, is indeed irresistible and can overcome any supposed opposition, regardless of how immovable it may appear to be. This Science, in harmony with the teachings of Christ Jesus, demonstrates that all power and reality are expressions of God, the only cause and creator, and hence there is in actuality nothing to resist the operation of God's law.
