Lies, gossip, slander, sometimes seem to hit us just when we feel we are doing a good job. How we deal with them has a lot to do with our peace of mind—at home, in church work, in the dormitory, or at our place of business.
I once found myself the butt of malicious gossip in college. After stewing about it for a while I called a Christian Science practitioner.
"Did God say it?" she asked.
