Like many other people who study Christian Science, I too can say that since I became acquainted with this blessed religion my life has been completely transformed. Mrs. Eddy, in her self-denial, love, and spirituality, discovered the way of the Christ so that we can all walk in it.

Through the daily study of the Bible Lesson in the Christian Science Quarterly, as well as through reading all the books by Mrs. Eddy, my life has been renewed. It is just as the beatitude says (Matt. 5:6), "Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled"—and I have been filled!

I had suffered for ten years after having a serious operation. I had leukopenia, and this caused temporary spells of great weakness. The medical analyses each week indicated no healing. I had been forbidden to use kerosene or any chemical product, wax, detergents, and so forth. It got to such a point that I was sent into the country while my house was cleaned. But when I returned there was no improvement in my condition. I traveled to the United States, where my husband had me see a doctor who said there were no medicines to help, other than the ones I was already taking.
