No Vacuums in Spirit
Nature abhors a vacuum, and in divine Science, Spirit or God utterly outlaws vacuums. The infinite All can't include pockets of nothingness.
Spirit is inescapable; or, to put it more usually, God is All. Spirit has no cavities containing opposites of itself. If it did, Christian Science would not be useful and practical. Because Spirit is All, we can prove that the presence of God outlaws vacuums, and on this basis we can heal and adjust all human difficulties. The allness of Spirit has its counterpart in the law that there are no voids in Spirit. There is no place where Spirit is not actively expressing itself. This is a spiritual truth you can grasp and prove.
Suffering and troubles are errors. They come from the belief that Spirit makes room for matter and its woes. We can step back from that belief and annul it. It is illegitimate. "Disbelief in error destroys error," Mary Baker Eddy writes, "and leads to the discernment of Truth. There are no vacuums." Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures, p. 346;
