My Favorite Bible Verse

"Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness" (Isaiah 41:10).

Knowing that "I am thy God" helped me to overcome a fear of going down into our basement because of house spiders. I had to get the thought that one idea of God can never hurt another idea. I reminded myself that God gives me strength and helps me, and now I don't have any problem with fearful thoughts when I go downstairs.
