Can I Speak Your Language?

Right where
we are
Every moment
God speaks
To all of us.
The listening ear
Hears His voice—
The silent thoughts
You and I can understand

Your language
And my language.

God's thoughts are the truth,
They tell of His allness,
Of His love and goodness,
How near He is to each
of us.
They guide us, heal us,
Show us how
To know and love Him...
And love each other more.
His Word brings peace
and happiness.

God's thoughts
Give us words
That help and heal—

Your language
And my language.
