EXPECTANT

Acts 3:1-8

Did he think that these two fishers from Galilee
were rich—
wealthy enough to give silver to a beggar?
Why then was he expectant?

Or did he see the love of God reflected
in Peter and John—
so that, when healed, he praised not the men
but just the power, God?
