May this testimony in some small way express my gratitude and appreciation for Christian Science and the many benefits it has brought me.

I have had healings of physical difficulties, one of an arthritic condition. For a number of months I was unable to put my left arm up to or above my head or behind my back without pain. I endeavored to gain a clearer understanding of my spiritual selfhood as the perfect child of God, made and maintained in His likeness, free from pain and limitation. Then one day as I listened to an account of the healing of another Christian Scientist of a similar arthritic condition, I realized I had been healed and had been using my arm freely for some time.

A couple of years ago I was told by a dentist that the toothache I felt was caused by a diseased or infected condition at the root of a tooth. The dentist said there were only two remedies—either medical treatment or extraction of the tooth. But I knew there was a better solution available. I recognized this was another opportunity to prove that Christian Science heals.
