THE OPEN ROAD
Self-belittlement and false humility:
Twin roadblocks
Subtly covered up
To look like pointers to unselfishness,
Need to be hoisted firmly to one side
to find the road you really want to go.
So trust the intimations of the Word,
The absolute authority of God.
His leadership is yours—strong and assured.
Put off the silly habits of the past.
Only the good accumulates and grows
so that the overspill can help defeat
the error in disguise that placed the blocks.
Nothing can cover up the honest fact
That man is whole, inviolate, intact.
Now there's an open road.
Unhindered you can gently move along.
Self-recognition dawns—
Divine intelligence is coming through.
The Word of Truth is shaping you anew.
