It is with joy that I relate the following healings. I have never ceased to be grateful that I attended The Mother Church Sunday School from the time I was a small child to the age of twenty. My mother, although not an active student of Christian Science, loved the teaching and made a great effort to have her three daughters regular pupils. For years I was troubled with constipation. In my middle teens I mentioned the condition to one of my Sunday School teachers. Her devoted prayer healed me.

Another rewarding experience was working for a few months in The Christian Science Publishing Society, and later in the administrative offices of The Mother Church.

My hour of awakening and growth in applying my understanding of Science came when I had what would probably be termed a nervous breakdown. I was extremely fearful and weak, and was afraid to go anywhere alone. I struggled with this for several years, during which time I had help at different times from Christian Science practitioners. I learned to study Science as I had not done before. Discouragement seemed overwhelming at times, but with the prayer and encouragement of a practitioner, I gained strength, confidence, and joy, and ultimately a complete healing.
