The help of a student of Christian Science was immeasurable...
The help of a student of Christian Science was immeasurable when our child was healed through prayer.
At the age of four months our little girl fell ill with a serious disease. The diagnosis was fibroelastosis. The child's heart expanded so that it was unnaturally enlarged. The attending doctors told us that the condition was incurable. They did not know of a case in which the patient had lived to normal years.
We lived in constant fear. This condition brought with it special concern during what would be considered slight illnesses of cold or fever. We felt the child could not be cared for at home, and innumerable times she was placed in a hospital.
