The Efficacy of Christian Science Healing

Christ Jesus proved that a right understanding of God as divine Spirit, Truth, Life, can uplift us to the spiritual elevation of thought and action necessary to overcome every discord that confronts humanity today—sickness, sin, poverty, hunger, even death. And Christian Science presents the scientific interpretation of the spiritual laws that gave impetus to all the great healing works of our Master.

Those who rely on this interpretation and correctly apply it in their daily experience have the positive assurance that Christian Science heals. And those who have been healed by Christian Science have firsthand knowledge of its essential efficacy, for its correct application invariably results in a regeneration of thought—of motives, desires, and aspirations. This regeneration, in turn, transforms our lives.

When we are faced with trials—perhaps an illness, insufficient income, or a moral problem that seems beyond our control—Christian Science provides lasting solutions. And whether the attainment of healing is more or less immediate, we certainly learn more of our true relationship to God each step of the way. Actually, Christian healing is an awakening to a higher view of man's nature as the spiritual expression of God, our Father-Mother. We discover that perfection is really always at hand—right there in the higher outlook, the spiritual point of view.
