I would like to say a long overdue "thank-you" for Christian Science.

Twenty-five years ago I was a chronic sufferer from migraine headaches and an internal disorder. Both conditions I believed were caused by the factory work I was doing to earn a living. I was under a doctor's care and was receiving a strong pain-killing drug. After a few visits, the doctor, who was also a warm family friend, sternly told me he would not contribute to my becoming more of a drug addict by prescribing for me further.

He recommended that I investigate Christian Science, and related several healings he termed miraculous that he had seen in France in the frontline hospitals during the war just ended.
