Why Be Patient?

A teen-ager in a Christian Science Sunday School didn't see why he should be patient—wasn't patience a thing of the past in today's fast-moving world?

"Patience comes from God," another student answered. "It's something we have as the reflection of God but don't always use."

The answer went right to the heart of the subject. Patience can never be outdated, any more than man as the spiritual idea or reflection of God can be outdated. But the impatience of self-will can be proved obsolete.
