About a month ago an "Accent" report on Meals-on-Wheels in the Caulfield area referred to the distressing circumstances of a Christian Scientist "whose beliefs forbade her seeking medical help."
It is worthy of note that through the help of her religion and the practical help of a number of individuals, the lady concerned has now made fine progress. She is living in bright, well-kept premises and she is frequently visited and taken out by friends. She is well and happy and expresses a desire to serve others, which she is doing in a number of ways.
A hearty thank-you is due to [the lady in charge of Meals-on-Wheels] and her...team for their part in helping meet the need.
