God's Economy

God has absolute control over every aspect of the economy of His universe. We quickly find this out when we begin to understand something of the truth of God and man through Christian Science.

God is infinite, divine Mind—which includes the true idea of everything that exists, including man—and creation is wholly spiritual and perfect. God's economy consists of Mind's proper placement of each idea in relationship to all other ideas. Mind creates ideas that function according to divine law.

When we understand our true selfhood to be the likeness of God, God's perfect reflection of Himself, we find our thoughts and ideas about everything very different from those we had held before. We express a higher level of intelligence and wisdom, and learn that God governs every function of our true being. This understanding manifests itself on the human scene as better management and productivity in our affairs.
