For some years before I knew of Christian Science, I suffered from all kinds of error. But now I am going to tell of the circumstance which motivated my taking up the study of this Science. It was a healing in which I experienced mental surgery.
I was suffering from prolapse. The condition was so extreme that it hindered my walking, and at the same time caused me severe discomfort.
The medical specialist who attended me made the diagnosis that I had to have an operation as soon as possible. For my part, I found I was confronted with the seemingly large problem of having to leave work for a period of time, for I had to maintain my home, and my children were small.
