Is Your Income Sufficient?

In times of inflation and economic turmoil it is comforting to turn to the Christian Science teaching that God, infinite Love, is the source of all good. As we awake to an understanding of God, Love, as illimitable Spirit and of man as His reflection, we realize the availability of Spirit's abundance to supply our every need.

Even though we may feel our income is inadequate to meet legitimate obligations, Christian Science reveals true substance, unlimited spiritual ideas from God, as present in consciousness. The income of right ideas in consciousness evidences the ceaseless self-expression of God, divine Love. Substance is never depleted, never inadequate or insufficient, but can always be demonstrated to meet successfully any contingency.

The spiritual understanding of being lifts thought above the false, material sense of things and progressively removes from our lives the limitations inherent in materiality, which plague mankind. The belief that currency is shrinking in value and our income is insufficient to meet our obligations, and that all sorts of shortages can hinder our welfare and progress—all of this is part of the false, material sense of life, completely separate from the reality of spiritual being where good is without limit.
