The Reliability of Metaphysical Healing

It is natural to turn exclusively and wholeheartedly to God as "a very present help in trouble," Ps. 46:1; as the healer of all disease and injury, when we look upon Him as a loving, all-powerful Father-Mother, who cares for every child of His, impartially and eternally.

Once a number of wasps whose nest I had disturbed swarmed about my face and neck and stung me severely. Immediately I turned to God as my deliverer, realizing there was no actual conflict between me and the wasps because God made everything and He made it good. I saw so clearly there was in God's kingdom no such thing as venom—just Love, God, being All-in-all—that the pain ceased as quickly as it had appeared, and I was free.

What joy such an experience brings! The understanding that God is with us always, and in all situations, gives us a glimpse of heaven itself. How efficient the power of God is! When one is sufficiently receptive to it, there is no need to go anywhere or seek anyone in order to avail oneself of its beneficence. Divine power is an omnipresent help, always available.
