Science and Health: A Book of Prophecy
There are many unusual books in the world. A well-known one is Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures. This is the textbook of Christian Science, written by the Discoverer and Founder of Christian Science, Mary Baker Eddy.
Many people like to read this book through consecutively at least once a year. I do. But I try to have a special subject, or topic, in mind for each reading. Of course, I always find many other interesting things in the book, but having a special subject in mind gives me something to focus on.
One day, when I was reading to find out all that Science and Health says about what God is, and what He does, I came across this sentence: "Matter is made up of supposititious mortal mind-force; but all might is divine Mind." After I had underlined the second part of that sentence, I read on. The next sentence is: "Thought will finally be understood and seen in all form, substance, and color, but without material accompaniments." Science and Health, p. 310;
